We will be conducting a Settlers of Catan tournament, sponsored by Mygames. The first prize is a copy of Settlers of Catan

We will also be conducting a Mahayodha Tournament, with the first prize being a copy of the game along with a poster, t-shirt, and art. The runner ups also walk away with a poster, t-shirt, or art.

If you are new to board games and you’re not sure what games you would like to play, you can check out our helpful guide. You can also check out our Mumbai Board Gamers album for photos and descriptions of several of the games.

We will teach you the rules for each game before you start.

Most of the games take between five to fifteen minutes to learn.

In case of any problems with registering or paying for your RSVP on, please get in touch with Aniceto on 9619504825. He will help you sort out your problem.

How do I find out more about boardgames?

Watch this for a quick introduction to board games

Wil Wheaton's Tabletop web-series is also an excellent introduction to several of the games on our list. Other sites you can visit to learn more about board games include Shut-Up and Sit Down, Dice Tower, Board with Life.

Where is the hall located?

The hall is located in the YWCA building on Madame Cama Road, Colaba. You need to come round to the back of the building to enter. The google map directions are accurate enough for you to use GPS to locate the hall.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

You need to have some identification along with your ticket printout. The age limit is 12 years and older. No children under 12 are permitted.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

You can take buses to the Regal Cinema/Mondegar Cafe stop from Churchgate and Victoria Terminus. The hall is less than a minute from the bus stop.

For people with cars, you can find paid parking in the lanes around Regal Cinema, or parking can be done at Inox Cinema. As it is a Saturday, there will be adequate parking space early in the morning.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

Food and beverages will be provided at the venue. You may bring your own; We encourage a sense of pot-luck and sharing.

You can bring your own boardgames to play with others at the event.

We request you not to bring any large bags or backpacks for the event as we will not allow bags around the gaming tables due to lack of space.

Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?

You can call the organisers at the numbers given in the Contact box.
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

No. It is not transferable. We apologise for the inconvenience. If however, you are not able to attend, then let us know as we will let someone else take your place.

Can I update my registration information?

Once registered, we don't expect you to change anything. As said before, the tickets will not be transferable.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Either a printout or a pdf of your ticket on your smartphone is ok. Your identification must match irrespectively of how you present your ticket.

What is the refund policy?

No refunds. We apologise for the inconvenience.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

A typo like Jyot for Jyoti is understandable, but a Ramanujan Mukherjee is not Ramdas Kharkare.

Is there a dress code?

Dress comfortably. The hall is not airconditioned, and as it is summer, shorts, sandals and tees are perfect for the weather.

Is there a code of etiquette?

Yes. Please follow the following rules

1. Pay attention while the rules are being explained

2. Do not leave a game in between. Most of the games will be short games with timings of a half hour to a little over two hours.

3. This is neither a dating event nor a competition. Do not misbehave or be caustic with any members of the same or opposite sex. In the event of any misbehaviour, you will be immediately debarred from the event. There will be no excuses accepted nor any money refunded.

You can also check out our page on Gaming Etiquette for more details.
